So... How many channels do you get?

I was amazed: I bought a $20 digital antenna on Amazon and got over 50 channels! Being digital, it is a remarkably clear picture when you have a decent signal... I did it mostly just to be able to get live local news, but it has exceeded my expectations greatly and I feel stupid for not trying it sooner! We "cut the cable" years ago, but basically went without anything but streaming for years.

We are on a little hill just outside town and have line-of-sight to the towers, so great reception with 79 channels. I get MeTv now. Most importantly, I get all 4 major networks clear as a bell. That's all I ever watched with the dish.

You can check how many channels you can get over the air at you location here.

I can get 51 from my home, including subchannels. Of course, some of them are basically junk, just like any other service provider.

I actually prefer watching the major networks OTA since the signal is uncompressed. it's a visible difference, particularly in something like racing with fast motion.

EDIT: Atlanta has a total of 140 channels, but I'm out of the city quite a bit and am blocked from a couple of the broadcast antennas due to terrain.

Yeah I got something similar we only get like 20 channels and half are spanish but hey it's free besides the antenna.

Yes.
In fact many of the joke captioned picture we make ourselves and post are not "memes" at all since they don't spread from person to person.
