Ordered mine July 7th. Told the dealer I didn't expect it for a while but they didn't call me for 10 days (even after I left a voicemail asking "what's up" a week later). I was stressed... finally found out that my dealer is waiting for an allocation and I should get an ETA within a week or two.

I was getting stressed until that call. Now just excited and trying to be patient.

I ordered my BRZ in March. I'm pretty pissed that it isn't here yet. The longer I wait the more likely I am to cancel my order and try for next year. Pretty soon summer will be over and winter + snow will be right around the corner and I might as well just park it for 4 or 5 months. Not going to drive my brand new shiny car in the nasty salty sludge with all the idiots in their beaters with bald all season tires wandering the streets. Next year I go back to Houston and won't have to deal with that crap anyway.

They tell me 4-6 weeks when I ordered, and that they'll keep me updated weekly. 4 weeks later, not one update. I call, they say they'll find out on Aug 3rd if mine gets allocated. "So how long after its allocated?"

"4-6 weeks"...

I only had to wait half a day, but that's due to someone backing out on their order and saw it at the dealership and drove it off the next day.
