The other party is at fault so it doesn’t matter what I have it insured for, I could have Starr minimum and liability only doesn’t matter they owe to make the claimant whole.

Someone on the freeway blew a tire on my commute to work and there was debris everywhere. A good chunk got kicked up from a car in front of me. Unfortunately it hit my front license plate and part of my front bumper.

I was able to clean it with some detail spray and TLC. I'll keep my front plate the way it is to remind me how "important" it is to have a front plate.

Moral of the story: The front license plate can act as a shield

I'd skip the intake, FWIW. Not much to be had over just doing a tube and a drop in for far less cash.
yeah, that's after the springs. It's only an inch drop, so hard to see.
Thanks for the input on the intake. I'm not in any rush, I love the car as is so want to enjoy it. Maybe in a year or two....

I have a set with bad finish I use for my winters. (Not that the car has ever seen bad weather.) Thinking I'll have them re painted in black metal flake to match the paint on the tS when I get around to buying new rubber.
They do look similar, so yeah I hope they have fixed that.

Yes, however since you do not have your extras covered you have declared a value of your car to your insurance company, AKA blue book. The other insurance company will use that value also. Not saying you can not work out extra compensation, it just would be a lot easier if you insured your extras.

yea this is 100% wrong does not matter what my coverage states they damaged my property, thanks for the input though but just a heads up you are spreading misinformation. I am a licensed PA auto damage appraiser and run a body shop, if someone hits you they owe you for complete compensation not what you have your car insured for if i crashed my car and did not properly insure that is a completely different story.

damn, I’m jealous of every state that doesn’t have Michigan style, we’re the auto capitol of the world so let’s f*** every car owner with a “No Fault” insurance system that only benefits the insurance industry’s profits.

We have that as well. Doesn't matter who did what your company is paying and they are only going to give you the declared value of the car. You can sue for any other parts but if your insurance company wasn't billing you the higher rate they ain't paying it.

Goodies arrived. I am impatient and didn't feet like waiting 3 months for pedders mounts so I installed them with the stock mounts and reused the crash bolt and camber bolt. Took some photos of their positions to get it close until I get the alignment checked again.

Spring maintenance day.
Changed the oil, touched up some stone chips, did a bolt check on the headers/OP and Applied some DEI heat tape to the oil pan.
