Seems to be a popular trend with 350z's trying to drift. Or the, hey I'm mid drift, let's press the brake really hard now because my balls went into my stomach and my ass clenched so hard it started bleeding in fear.

This is soon followed by them going straight into a curb or ditch.

Snow driving is great for learning the chassis balance.

In the dry, just getting the rear to wiggle is often enough for me, maybe a little chirp from the tires in the process.

well said.

also contrary to what the poster above you said.. i drive with TC OFF during winter... and even if the rear kicks out the car is more predictable and easier to drive with a little throttle control

Ive owned my 13 FRS for 1 year to the day. Ive slightly skidded around a sharp corner once. Ive yet to pull the car 180 let alone 360. I WANT to, but my logical self says $500 for tires is a stupid bargain for 10min of fun. Might as well get season passes to Six Flags for the family and spend 20 days having a blast than ruining good rubber.

What can I say, Im old and still enjoy fun (also 38), but not when its a greater cost than I can afford - especially since its a daily driver and the best(subjective, sure) car Ive ever had. Not saying I wont ever do a donut in it, but Im thinking right time- right place scenario might be the only way Im willing.
