Ya it is very strange how it works with some and not others. I understand the at work issue where image sharing sites may be blocked but it should be fine for everyplace else. I will have to keep experimenting until I find one that works in more places.

Goog uses a complex indexing system to store photos.
None of them uses .gif, .jpg or .png. Chrome can cope with it, but few other browsers know what to do with all the hash.

I will try some other method. Any recommendations from anybody? Most of the bigger ones are out of the question since they are blocked at work.

It worked fine in Edge (which is Chromium based) and IE at an unblocked location, for what it's worth.

You might find one that works for a while but eventually it will get caught up in the filter.

The photos stored on a different type of service (like FT86CLUB, for example) would show because its not a "file sharing service" but a "forum". I have a "vanity" domain we use for home email and I could store photos on its servers and link them here and they would work for example.

OK that is on Flicker. Guess anybody that is blocked just won't see them.

OK so now that the pictures are sorted out.
There are very few pictures of the wing fold mech and the few there are show it all disassembled. I made up what I could based on the pictures but it is probably about 30% accurate and 70% "well that looks right". ![]() ![]() ![]() Also added sections for the tail fold parts. ![]() Canopy is one solid section ![]() So I cut out the front cockpit part so I could open it. Forgot to take a picture but it is the part behind the windscreen that has green around it (rolled up masking tape to seal the openings and hold it in place for painting. I then masked the many many glass sections with bare metal foil. It is a thin foil with an adhesive on it. ![]() So all ready for paint. ![]() But... I ordered the Zero kit for the figures (impatient ichi second from right) ![]() and it arrived yesterday. ![]() It is supposed to be one of the very best aircraft kits ever made and looks like a fast and easy build. ![]() ![]() ![]() And since it has to be the exact same colours as the Seiran I figured I may as well throw it together and paint both at once. Besides I need a break from scratch building and am waiting on some materials anyway.
