Hadn't seen this one. Looks interesting, particularly with the dynamic gameplay and scenery. I'd probably never make it through though as my gamer style is more "Edge of Tomorrow" than real world.

I'll only play it if I can get it on CD or DVD/Blue Ray. No way I'm downloading mega MB's of data over my phone. |

I think it has a lot of potential. I'm just afraid it will look stellar and very immersive, and then go full CoD or Battlefield when released. So my expectations are very, very low. I've been waiting for a proper immersive and teeth-gritting game like this for years. But the run-and-gun bois ruin most franchises.

That is what ARMA and mods are for.

I'm tired of this logic. Not everything has to be ARMA. There can be other SIM-like games too you know?

Bought Cyberpunk at last. After all the patches that came out so far the game is quite playable. Watched a number of reviews on НЕ which said that the game was extremely glitchy soon after the release. But now it is ok. It is strange to me because with my fav game, WoW, I have never had such problems. Ever!

The game kinda falls apart on side quests and world immersion if you go off the main storyline too much. the world is huge but interactivity is near-zero. The replayability is surprisingly low for an RPG. Started Control a few days ago, very fun and very weird. hoping that keeps me busy until Mass Effect remaster in may. |

I am not disagreeing but.....
I am playing CP2077 again for want of anything else. This is my 4th run through with 263 hours play time. I am playing as Corpo but as has been said during reviews all does is open up more dialogue options which have zero effect on the game. So, the the game is still the same, the objectives are still the same, but the thing is, I am thoroughly taken by the world. For me the game's greatest failing, apart from not living up to what was promised, is the way the ending works with regards to playing on after the main quest has been completed. This will become apparent once you have finished.

I did a playthrough of Andromeda too. I enjoyed it very much, and I wish we could have seen Andromeda developed properly instead fo getting restart after restart and getting rushed in 18 months. There is so much potential in that game. First time playing Andromeda on PC this time, some weird bugs with controller support of all things but other wise a better experience than on a 2013 Xbox one. I ended up completely switching to PC over the last year after I built my PC for HL:Alyx at the end of 2019 (SO glad I built one then, not 6 months later). I finally understand people's beef with 30FPS on consoles, solid 60FPS is so much nicer now. Now I use Nvidia's gamestream to stream my PC to almost any screen in the house (moonlight client) and between Gamepass PC and Sony bringing their exclusives to PC after a delay (HZD, GOW and GOT coming soon) I no longer feel like I need a console anymore. |

Meanwhile....I just finished the SP campaign on Halo 3 (Master Chief Edition). Since I don't "do consoles" for the most part, I had only played Halo:CE and Halo 2.
So, I have to say, by the time 3 came around they were really just phoning in the single user campaign. It felt like I was playing a reboot of CE, right down to the vehicle run to end the game. Still fun, but I'm glad I didn't pay release money for it.

I, too, didn't play Halo 3 till the MCC came out on PC. Though, subsequently, I liked it outside a few plot points about certain characters.
