I think if they put one on, Ill definitely keep it around after inspection for the yearly removal haha. I cant imagine the previous owner doing this every damn year... id love to see how easy it is if anyone has a good video to share.

yeah
but the thing is... If you were in Florida you wouldn't have to worry about it. We quit doing those stupid inspections decades ago. Here anything goes. |

New (used) wheels and tires last night!
Driving home weather was atrocious and there was accident ahead of me. Hit some debris (not much I could've done about it, frankly I'm lucky I was otherwise uninvolved) and my front left has a nice ugly dent in it now. Fuck! Lucky the bead held and it stayed inflated. Stranded at 1am 100+ miles from home would suck. |

Lucky me, I only had to drive my car 4hrs to the dealer and back for a free oil change, serpentine belt, state inspection pass, and tire rotation.
Looks like I wont need a muffler for at least another 375 days hahahah. Wooooo!! On a liter note, the guy looked at my car and said "There's no way this wouldn't pass an inspection! Its got a muffler! You went to the wrong guy..." lmfao Quote:
You've got this, just gotta remove the push clips and a couple of screws on top and underneath. Then the front pops right off and is super light. Just gotta remember to remove the side markers first! Good luck!

Nah the dent is in the wheel. Ran over something fairly heavy that came off one of the cars in the accident. Not sure what, visibility was very poor. Probably a tool of some kind, a work truck (with all those boxes of stuff and whatnot) lost his lane in the storm and rear ended someone who had pulled over to wait out the weather.... and turned off their car and all lights. Prudent to stop, but shoulda had the hazards on. It looks to be something I can get repaired though. Pic here https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...21#post3416221 |

Damn that does suck for the new wheels! Hopefully it wont cost too much or warp further with use. Good luck with it all!

Took a month, but I finally mounted the intercooler. Also sanded and painted the bracket that I bolted the intercooler to.
Also installed an eBay armrest- it's pretty good for $23
