Photoshop, but it looks to match the AU patent filings we saw back in February (that have since been hidden, sneaky!) very closely, so it is probably very close.

I like it. Not sure if I like it more than gen 1, but I much prefer the front end of this GR compared to the BRZ which I just can't like.

Looks good in red.

Personally, I think it looks so much better than the BRZ. As others have stated it's a photoshop.

I think, that render ,the biggest difference it will have from the production car will be the lines coming from the hood, end up in the center of the bumper. The render doesn't have them on the bumper, instead they put them under the headlights and it makes a total different sense of the car.

Ya I doubt there will be any surprises at this point.

Agree, also I think it is the better looking next gen twin at this point.

The bumper is slightly better but it still has those damned gothic revival bulges around the fender vents and the running boards down the sides. Those remain a deal breaker for me.

Yeah probably not a deal breaker for me but I’d prefer it if they were sleeker. Some overhead shots and the ones where they are taken at a standing height and not at ground level, they seem to be not as pronounced. I guess I’ll reserve my final judgement when I see it in person. The specs on paper do look very good too.

FWIW, I thought the BRZ mouthguard would prevent me from ever buying one, but here I am... What bugs you a lot *now* might bug you less in the future. Or not...

I could probably live with them if they were part of an overall cohesive design.
As it is they look like they were slapped on as part of a Low Boiz Fitment Club $200 eBay body kit that some 16 year old is saving up for the rest of.

Ironically enough I do not like the new WRX design as it too plain, sedan like and "grown up".

Why can't they just stick to something in between the extremes?

when it comes to japanese car design, it seems like its either way too bland, or way to extreme.

I suppose that means they go all out one way or the other lol.
