Like throwing the printer paper on the ground several feet away when I left it sitting on the table next to the printer (which has his stereo on it).

or moving the bags of leaves to the space of the drive way where I park because I left them by the side of the house till the first pick up.

or hiding the recycling bin because I threw a few cans in the trash

or hiding the trashcan because I didn't take out the trash when his GF came over.

or throwing my clothes on the ground because the dryer finished after I had to leave to work.

you know... little things like that. Now I will apologize if those seem like things I should have done. and absolutely I probably should have. but I respond to words, not to things like I listed.

The best way to deal with that crap is to watch it fade in the mirror. Ain't nobody got time for that shit.

Oh boy. Ask about it when his gf is around... Maybe he'll have to look for a new place AND a new GF. As long as he doesn't go violent...

lol he basically won't let me have any interaction with his GF. once I came out of my bed room, they were about too, then he whispered something and they closed the door as I came out. funny in hindsight though

the only thing in that list that's passive aggressive is the bags of leaves. the rest of it is some combination of being an asshole, entitlement, and anger issues.

which is worse, because that there is no action you can take that he won't feel slighted by, and will feel the need to one-up further so he's no longer slighted(start throwing all cans in the garbage because he hides the recycling can, he starts throwing bags of garbage on your car, and lights them on fire). best action is to get away-- but he will be angry that you 'stiff him' on the rent, even if you were to leave at the end of the current term and just refuse to re-up...

honestly, i feel worse for the girlfriend. getting serious "you don't break up with me until i say so!" vibes. you've just got a legal contract to deal with.

My wife's mother is a complete narcissist, evil, aweful person. We have worked hard to move her 2000 miles away, and ignore her, but my wife can't let go. My sons and I beg my wife to let go. My wife can't. It sucks. Sometimes even your relatives are bad news and better to live without.

Luckily my lease ended term ended quite some time ago so now it's month to month. I don't intend to "stiff him" as I would like my deposit back, but yeah I'm actively looking. Just kinda tired of the behavior regardless what it can be called.

One thing I do find amusing is, my bathroom was a little... smelly after a lot of fiber. He left one of those automatic air fresheners at the staircase facing my bathroom.
