The question is, can you find a car model from that era?

Alright, experimenting time. Bought some lambskin leather, thinned it (PITA since I've never worked with leather in my life), and glued it on. Waiting for the glue to dry so that I can cut the excess. Hoping this works out. Interior will be red, black, and possibly gray.

Sorry. Don't know why the site oriented the pics to landscape since they were shot in portrait orientation.

Interesting experiment.

Pretty disappointed in Tamiya TS-45 pearl white. The can only lasted for one mist coat, and 2 medium-heavy coats. The paint stopped, and the rest of the can was just a lot of air. I did not paint the chassis either as instructions say not to (I didn't spray paint it, but just brushed on some cheap acrylic paint where I knew the adjustment screws would not go.

I wonder if I can use the shavings for carpeting/floor mats. For those that may want to try this, it takes super long to thin the leather. Then again, I'm just using a hobby knife and a razor. Haha

Pearl white is a nightmare colour regardless of scale... Never got it or understood it..

The color and scale of the pearl in the Tamiya is very nice. I just wish the can lasted as long as the other colors I've used because I think one more wet coat would have made it look super good.

Found an old digital camera when cleaning up some stuff the other day. Thought it may be better than my phone pics!
Here are a couple of kits that are hard to get decent pictures of since they are shiny and there is no way I could have got those wires in focus with my phone.
The other nice part is that the camera is so old and the resolution so low I don't have to reduce the file size like I did with the phone ones.

So now with better pictures. Ladies (who am I kidding) and Gentleman. More Seiran.

What a beautiful fit for the wings.

Be a shame if...

Somebody came and ...

CUT THEM OFF!

On those bi-wing planes, were those wires part of the kit, or did you make those from scratch like you did with the folding mechanism thingamajigger on the seiran?
