It's a TRD style/replica. Unsure of company, as I had purchased it form a fellow in Atlanta last year and didn't ask. He wanted to wrap it, but was having trouble getting the wrap to stay on unpainted plastic. I got a local shop to spray it DAR/Neptune a couple weeks ago. When I dropped the spoiler off, they came out with some sort of fancy paint-reading gun to make sure the color they mixed would be exact, and boy did they ever deliver a great result!

Well now, since my not too often driven 2013 FR-S seems to have a weak battery I decided to give it zap with the charger. Now, I did this about a month ago and it seemed to help. At that time I checked the level of electrolyte in the cells and it appeared that the cells "were covered" with fluid. I thought that was OK.
So, this time, when checking the cells, even though the tops of the cells were covered, I decided to add a bit of distilled water. DANG! Each cell took about a half a cup of water! ![]() ![]() Comments? |

Put in new headlights. Bought these used (Winjet with morimoto xb35), restored the housings with Sylvania restoration kit and mounted them today. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Yes, pedal feeling (it does nor eliminate the dead pedal travel, for that would need to change components on master cylinder, but it reduces the total travel specially on higher deceleration level). Also, made it easier to heel and toe for me (more consistent stroke)

Had a go at wrapping the cluster hood and door handles (whose grey paint had become damaged over time) with suede-like material. Pretty happy how it turned out.
The door handles require rather precise wrap-trimming to be put back on the card, and I had forgotten how much of a pain working with this material was. Still, $20 got me enough material to do the dash, both door handles, and the cluster hood. Not bad value. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Didn’t do anything to my BRZ but I attended my first drift day - made me realize I need a different car if I want to do this. My car looks lifted compared to these too...I need coilovers!
This guy has a cool car - not me! He was running a shot of nitrous too

pull the traction fuse, or do the pedal dance, all you're lacking is the technique!

Im honestly timid about turning off the traction on mine. Id probably wrap it around a pole even trying to do donuts in the open parking lot hahah Im also apprehensive with a lot about this car as its my first ive actually loved. Driving a Chevy Cobalt the last 12 years hasnt let me experience much about cars lmao But today [yesterday] I redid the some engine harness wiring that a squirrel decided to enjoy. It seemed his favorite was the ABS/traction control wire (green/black), completely severing it and my wiper hose on the driver side. Also chewed up a few other spots in the same area but nothing some tape couldnt cover. Everything except my LED side marker is back in order without spending more than a $30 for a portable solder gun I was wanting for some time now. Dealer wanted $900 for the harness repair... WTF lol Got a replacement side marker ready for installation as well. Thatll be simple enough to pop out, I just need to get a few of the gray clips that hold them since a few were too brittle already. Having a few on hand will keep it more secure. I even went out and got some rodent repellent in the form of Apple Cider Vinegar with Honey and Cayenne Peppers. So tomorrow I'm gonna soak a rag in it and wipe it under the area he probably sneaks in at, then drop it in the engine bay area he decided to nest. Theres no moving parts near there so it can stay for a while to keep it out (hopefully!)

Serious drifters will have a fair amount of money in suspension. A front Angle kit is probably the biggest thing. Stock suspension probably makes drifting easier for us if anything. It's setup up well for oversteer and won't feel too sharp and twitchy once it lets go.
Winter driving is the best drifting tool. Nannies off and you are playing a constant game of to drift or not to drift. |

long-press the button, and just play with the fringes of grip. the more you play, the more comfortable you become with the dance.

How important is an alignment immediately after I install them? Can I get a day or two get back to house and to the alignment place without messing anything up?
