The starter was a pain to swap though, you had to pretty much disassemble the starter to get it out and assemble the new one in place.
Mine was a '94, 3.2 V6, MT, 4x4 with big tire option and limited slip rear end. One thing I loved about the '94 is it had a tailgate. I had a basket on top as big as the roof, and we would load that thing several feet high with gear, and the 5 of us, pulling a boat full of gear, and it just kept going. It also went off road a lot hunting. I think my friend's girlfriend is still driving it today.

Does Isuzu still exist?

Looking at a photo in another thread made me realize something because they had sanitizer in the armrest area. My car is totally unaffected by any world events that have and are still occurring since 2020! Maybe I won't bother fixing it after all...

Just commercial vehicles in North America. I think they have a few passenger vehicles in other countries but not really sure.

I can set aside that unfounded concern? It's a good one to let go of.

Called insurance agent to double check house will be covered. Txt'ed house agent to make sure on other stuff. Everything looking good. In 2 hours, closing on the house!

Never expected I'll ever buy a half million dollar house... & here I am buying a house that cost OVER HALF MILLION DOLLAR! Thinking about it give me a headache. Can I afford it? Yes. Is it gonna be house heavy? Lil, but in calculation I did, can afford it without an issue. Does it look like a half mil house? When I was young, no. BUT current market value, def worth over half mil.

Plus baby is popping this weekend... A LOT of stress on my plate. Feel like gonna have a stress breakdown (half joke lol). So all the kids here, don't give more work than as is. At least give me til next weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS on your house closing. Don't forget to change all the outdoor door locks. Also, you may wish to re-program your electric garage door opener. Have all the utilities been transferred?

I hope the childbirth goes smoothly -

We won’t be doing all those thing... yet. There’s a renter there, renter go 30 days to move out after signing (something along the line). Renter will pay the rent from today til however long he stayed. If he leave earlier than 30 days, he’ll pay us less. When he move out, I’ll be doing all those things

Are you on the hook to do the cleaning up and stuff after the tenant leaves (before you can start working on it)?

Seller... well technically my agent is taking care of all those. After tenant leaves, he gonna hire cleaning company to clean the house

Prolly safe. Besides, unless you are a serious track rat with blazing brake temps, they are just bling, that you can't see.

Just spent a good chunk of money on my own modem and wifi router.

I was in the process of setting up the Internet account I have to be moved from my current home to the new apartment and they (fortunately) had a reminder of "this is how much it costs per month to rent the equipment from us, would you like to use your own equipment?"

But I did some back of the napkin calculations and realized (what I really already knew but had ignored) that I've probably paid at least $1500 over the past 9 years of renting that equipment. So I did some research and just ordered my own. It'll be like $350 or so up front but as long as I use it for 5-10 years that'll be a huge cost-savings. *

* as long as I don't have issues setting it up, since of course they say they can't support non-rented equipment (even if it's the exact same thing they'd be renting anyway!)

So true - my second child was to be born on a scheduled date by cesarean section. He demanded to get out 10 days early - Yep, I drove her in our MGB from Danville to Los Gatos, averaging over 90 MPH (at 11:00 PM).

Nope, I could not pick up a police escort - but one "picked me up" the next day, on the way back home -
