Parked at a parking garage for a mall.

As I got out of the car, three dudes walked by and started laughing. Then one of them said “hey! Is that turbo’d??”

I said “Nope, NA but good quick throttle response” (yes other than the dip)

They keep laughing and walk away.

That was my first IRL Takumi from InitialD moment.

Installed the FTspeedfactory CR wheel...couldn’t love a steering wheel more:

Oh, there is another little button next to the 'heated seat' buttons for ejecting owners who don't read the "owner's manual"... Just don't go pressing it until after you've read the manual, you don't want to get hurt.

You mean that button? I thought that was for unruly passengers.

The first time I went to inspect my BRZ tS, (to see if I wanted it) nobody at the dealership knew how to get into the trunk of a car with a dead battery. Plus, nobody had bothered to check for the manuals, which were missing, so there was nothing to read.
Weeks after I took delivery (and many phone calls/texts and emails) I finally got all the books. However, by then I had found the hidden key and the trunk lock.

Got my groundhog out of its lair yesterday afternoon.

With the unusual great weather forecast till April we finally
have some above freezing daytime highs.

Could not wait any longer, so it got kicked out of its hibernation.
Had a depressing panic moment when I found out my insurance
agent was off for the week.

Only big concerns to take care of were 25lbs or so tire pressure
left all around and battery levels looked lower than the end of
November. Hopped in, started with no hesitations or prep as
expected and off for a short 20 minute drive to warm things

up a bit.

Still lots of snow on the ground here, Any long drives will need
some cleanup time to get the muddy runoff removed afterwards.

I may be going somewhat over budget in my gas usage in the
next few days...
