If you redirect the output tube from going into the interior back into the intake, you'll get +5hp.

Check with your insurance company. If you have comprehensive coverage it may be covered.

Agh, well, yea, that doesn't help much, in the case of most smaller repairs for that matter.

YOWZA. Might want to talk to your agent about that one. I had my State Farm lady run a few hypotheticals and it ended up that raising my deductible to the moon on all three vehicles only saved me ~$20-30/mo. So I left them low ($250 if memory serves).

Yeah i just lowered it to $1K now, paying $50 more a month... i only kept it high to start in case o the vehicle getting totaled. Thanks!

Hmm... for $600 a year difference in premium I would consider opening an account to dump the $50 a month for a couple of years so that you have the deductible self insured. That's going to add up fast.

My deductible is $500. The difference between that and $2000 a year is a much more trivial amount. Probably less than $100 a year.

Yeah it seems to vary wildly by insurer and agent... I've been with the same SF agency since I was a teenager, which probably helps. But carrying full coverage on my Tacoma, wife's BMW, and the 86 with super low deductibles is only ~$150/mo total. Dropping coverages and raising deductibles barely moved the needle.

Do yourself a favor, shop it around. Might get a surprise. I was paying $150 a month for a 99' Z24 bought new at 21. 16 years later the monthly stayed almost the same.
Switched companies and I Added the 15' FRS, a 00' van, and 17' Wrangler Unlimited and now pay $140 total for all 4 vehicles with full coverage on the FRS and Jeep.

I mean, I keep thinking that, but I'm paying $150/mo total for full coverage on three vehicles. I have a hard time thinking anybody's gonna beat that. Plus their customer service is fantastic.
