That’s really good news the 2020 doesn’t have it. They must be using a different high pressure fuel pump, or different internals.

They did some substantial changes to the fuel pump and internals in 17 but some guys still report having them.

Maybe regional additive package differences

Maybe I should take an HP pump apart and check it out. Probably won't tell me anything but at least have a more clear idea how it works.

I didn't have crickets until I had the engine swapped. I don't pay enough attention to notice now when I do/don't have them.

Install a supercharger, you won't hear it anymore.
