Seems like theft is going way up lately.

Several of my friends I’ve met in Japan have been resharing lots of social media posts lately. People in japan having their skylines and other typical popular 90’s jdm cars stolen. Supposedly by sri lanken people but who really knows.

Nope.
Same thing happened in Germany.
In fact the local strip club became quite famous a few years after I was there.
