That plus you have to make sure your using high quality bearings. If driving in wet/salty/dirty conditions you'll need to replace the bearings a little sooner. They'll last longer with rubber booties. If it's a control arm with adjustable rod ends, it's pretty easy and cheap to service. - Andrew |

Rallispec has a decent list for the STI hardened suspension bushings. http://rallispec.com/mou_bush_rstbkbrz.html

Nah that's not too bad...at first...but then you add installation cost to all of that and it does add up to be quite a bit.
There are a few spots where it makes more sense to replace the full arm or component instead with STI or aftermarket. - Andrew |

A little update on the whiteline front lower control arm bushings. So far so good. Steers straight even with a bit of toe out. No darty feeling with 1/8” of toe out before I put it back to 0°
Not quite sure how I feel about how the bushing and the control arm is held in place, but no problems so far.

I need to replace the rear subframe / diff bushings on my car.. but after watching how-to's i realized this is outside my paygrade and i don't have the necessary tools
A shop will be doing the bushings for me. Is there anything else I should have them replace while the rear-subframe is out? I can do shocks and end links and LCAs and what not myself. but any parts i can hand them while they got the subframe bushings out that would be worth while? all parts will be OEM from Toyota. Thanks |

https://www.subaruparts.com/oem-part...ber-20152ca000 Please keep in mind the 2017+ twins have revised front diff bushings, so be sure to get those if you are staying OEM. Hell, while you’re in there may as well throw in a 2017 diff which comes with those bushings and you get the sweet sweet 4.3FD. |

One other thing that I forgot to mention on the strut and shock parts...if you're trying to put together a complete assembly, there are a few more (small) parts needed. Usually they're parts you reuse so I didn't list them, but I'll go back and put the part numbers in at some point.

just realized the subframe bushings themselves dont come with the rear subframe (which includes the DIFF bushings)
Are you supposed to swap out the subframe bushings? |
