we always built according to instructions exactly once. after that, we'd tear it apart, and all the pieces would go into a big bin, from which our imaginations created anything and everything else.
some of my creations proudly attempted flight out of the second story window. it was a graceful gravity drop.

Our local Haggen has that “English” bacon. They call it “cottage” bacon, and it grills real nice on the Green Egg at cool-down. Makes the greatest addition to red sauces and carbonara. Dang....now I’m hungry and I’ve already had my glass of bedtime milk.
