Today my accountant said she would buy me a Supra tomorrow. And this time I think she is serious. I’ve been saying i want a Supra for awhile now and she kept blowing me off. Now with the reveal of the new twins, I’m kinda hesitant to buy one. My only gripe with the Supra is it isn’t a manual. I’ve only owned manual cars and I believe in sports cars should only be manual.

I cannot afford to own both but I can afford one or the other. Would you buy the Supra?

I’m looking at a 2021.

only if the 6 cyl had a stick (would not care for 4 cyl with a stick as a compromise). with auto i would get a bit bored... i personally know two folks who both owned twins and now own a mk5 and both have said the twins were more fun..

I concur, getting back into the 86 after an hour in the seat of a Mk.V makes you realise quite how good and engaging the 86 is. The cars have different personalities though, the Supra is more comfortable and puts on speed effortlessly. Guess it depends on what is your thing.

I got the Supra premium for $51,500 with military incentive.

The Supra has so much power. When I’m going 50mph it feels like I’m going 25. You do not feel a sense of speed. Also, I’m to busy watching my HUD so that I’m in the speed limit since the Supra is a cop magnet. I can’t really enjoy my drive.
