Bad ground at purge solenoid connection
Been dealing with what i thought were boost leaks. Here if you wanna read about me crying about it.
So my car has a works stage 2 turbo on it. And recently i noticed i couldnt go past normal wastegate spring pressure. I got a new EBCS since i suspected it after my boost leak test were fine. Same result cant past 7-8psi. i checked the plug on the EBCS. It seems the connector from the wiring loom has a bad ground. I tested it with a multimeter and the resistance was 200 ohms. (Oofph) so my question is. What is this connection called? Im looking through the wiring diagram to look at the ground locations but i cant find what this plug is called. Its the plug that usually goes into the purge solenoid under the intake manifold. Any help would be appreciated. Its this Last edited by airrick; 02-01-2021 at 06:55 PM. |

Yes my understanding is the boost control plugs into the evap solenoid.
FYI, get some flush cut dikes or a razor blade and fix you ty-wraps. |
