my then-girlfriends little step sister was always begging us to take her for a ride too.

looking back, i can't believe her parents ever agreed to allow me to put the little kid in that death trap of a fiasco.

Battery crapped out this morning after sitting out in -23°c overnight.

Had to push it out of my driveway, then forward out of the way so I could pull the GFs car out and boost it.
What better way to start a Monday at 6am!

Been there, done that and wrote about it last winter. Only difference, it was the wife's 2016 WRX STi that died. She had a new battery installed last Friday. She took delivery of the car in Nov. of 2015 so 5 years for the original battery is rather good these days, I think.

I managed to keep the original battery on my SX4 prior to trading it in, 10 years I believe. Block heater saved me big time in the winter. Without it the car wouldn't have enough juice to start.

I get the same vibe with this car. It never cranked strong during cold temps, even when new.
I'm going to pull it out, check the cells and give it a charge to see if I can revive it a bit.

replaced a fender inner liner on the front driver side. Ripped it clean off at Big Willow so I am not sure how the F I did it. Good thing they are 40$ at the dealer and easy to fit back in.

Yep, I'm finding that about my 8 year old FR-S (original battery). During the winter, I only drive it a few miles about every other week. It spins up the engine with a bit more gusto if I put it on a charger every now and then.

For those who drive their FRS/86/BRZ to a certain point that utilizes their brakes, this simple mod is a game-changer and is super effective!

I got one integrated with my Cusco Tower Strut bar. Not sure I would call it a game changer...

Finally got my TRD bodykit and Vland headlights installed. I haven't seen any TRD kits done in Argento Silver on here.

Bled/replaced the clutch fluid and did clutch pedal adjustments due to possible clutch dragging. Did not work and still will not shift into 1st or reverse when engine is on. Not sure what to do next.
