Awesome! I've been really looking forward to this mod for a while now, great price, and I found the center console with the switches for the seats. I'm assuming you have the base model with the black and red seats? |

That’s right. I had previously picked up a BRZ limited console with the switch holes already cut out. The switches from this kit clicked right into the holes with no modification. The wiring and connectors with this kit made installation very easy. The heating pads get warm quick, and that’s really nice right now. I didn’t install the passenger seat bottom pad due to the sensor. I rarely have any passengers so it wasn’t much of a concern for me. And I didn’t want to deal with the beeping. PM me if you have any specific questions about installation.

I don't believe it is, unless it's an older version. The current versus ones have the ability to be adjusted a little bit. I picked this one up secondhand from a forum member. I like it, but I definitely have to get used to it. I have a Cusco pedal and it makes it a lot easier to hit both pedals at the same time, so I have to consciously move my foot over further on the brake pedal to not hit the gas. I'm sure it'll be a little better with my actual driving shoes. Overall I like how much easier it is to blip the throttle on down shifts, but it'll take a couple of days to get used to it. Still have a soft spot for these. I was on the original forum pre-order group buy that never happened 7 years ago. I and many other ended up just getting the original jdm version of the Toms tailights but, the clear still look amazing.

i always wanted them, but then the melting issues happened, so i stuck with the red version. in a way, i like the red/blue contrast, but the clear/black would look a little more modern.

Good side is that the car is fun, so I really appreciate the driving and avoid paying attention to the downsides. The kids loved the ride and noise, laughed at every corner. |
