Well, finished AC: Odyssey, or at least stopped playing it, its hard to tell with AC games any more if you are "done" since they don't really provide a lot of tracking info.

Started playing Far Cry: New Dawn. Decent game as a continuation of 5 which I played when it first came out in 2018. I still like the Just Cause franchise a bit better though.

I had an NVIDIA 3070 in my cart, after weeks of tracking a GPU. I F5'd and F5'd and F5'd the website, over and over. When out of nowhere, the "Sold out" sign changed to "Add to cart" then said sign changed to "Wait", and after waiting for the latter for hours, I was finally able to add that glorious fruit of the gods to my cart, my heart was racing, palms were sweaty, knees weak. Hold on, getting carried away here.......Anywho, the damn card was in my cart, and as soon as I press CHECKOUT....."Oops, looks like we've sold out this item, please try again next time". Off to track again we go.

It's insane, every card, no matter how old or overpriced by the retailer because its been overclocked by EVGA, ASUS, XFX, etc, is fair game. It's being purchased within seconds.

Yup that's scalpers.

Unfortunately, my 3080 was bought off ebay for double the price and now my Ryzen 9 the same. So guess I'm a fool.

If you live near a Micro Center, there’s word of NVIDIA stock being replenished in a fair amount. But purchase in store only.

As if I didn’t hate living in CT already, now I hate it even more. Best Buy has no idea when they’re getting stock online or in store.

i think i've been playing forza too much...

went to drive the car today, and panicked a little when i went for reverse next to and down off 6th gear...

I was addicted to FarCry mp for a while. I thought "sniper glint" one time when I saw some reflection off a can I was walking past.

years ago, i used to play a lot of call of duty. i got so used to checking corners, i would enter houses in real life and check behind the door i entered through without even thinking about it.

I play America's Army: Proving Grounds on PC. One evening while driving I crested a hill and as I started down the other side my headlights began to light up the reflective strips on top of the guard rail posts one after the other. Frist thing that came to mind was "draw distance."
