I'm sure your local as Axis 5 is in Irvine.

My Nephew paints cars for the SEMA show.

I'd say he can do it for 350.

PM me

Weird, I just tell them no. That works 100% of the time

Sorry about the damage op, I know how much it sucks.

Don't get me wrong, I think it looks dropped a bit and its all good if you can live with it.

I'll have to park mine at the bottom of my driveway and see how much clearance I do have. Would be interesting just to look. Too bad the FR-S doesn't stand for "Front-Rear-Steering"

Hellaflushing this car - or any car that is driven in the real world - can be compared to women wearing super high heel stiletto shoes. 1 part positive, 9 parts negative.

In my world that 1 part positive is worth 9 votes and that 9 parts negative is worth 1 vote.

On a bar of awesome, flushing the car out is:

Stupid... [-------------------------------|--] ...Awesome

Thanks for all of the advice everyone - I now have a few options to look into. Someone asked earlier for pictures of the damage and I finally have my car back to take a few. There's a few scrapes on the underbelly of the bottom and one bigger scrape on the left hand front. I'm just shocked that Toyota quoted me 730 bucks for something that seems that could be easily fixed. >,<

Here's the car from normal view - it looks perfectly fine:

But look closer and from the ground, there's damage.

Here's a shot of the front area of the entire lip:

Here's a blurry view of the larger scrape on the front left part of the lip:

Mind you, they are small scratches which probably can be painted over but Toyota gave me a quote and said the cost to repair was going to be around $730!! And it's not like I can just get the lip replaced, Five Axis doesn't sell the parts separately (aside from the spoiler).

I've not decided what I am going to do yet but I may call around for quotes at other body shops. I just wanted to give everyone a fair warning especially those of you in LA like me.
You can get the kit piece by piece. It costs an arm/leg compared to a full kit. However, if you show that you need it due to collision or something to that effect, it's a bit better.

It shouldn't cost much to get it fixed at your local body shop.

Here in Aus we have an 18 month wait on MT cars, but ATs are filling up showrooms. Never really understood why Americans hate stick.

I would sell it and buy another one....you probably won't lose too much. someone can prolly live with those scratches.....

Next time, If you spend so much on a kit and paint, you should invest in a clear bra to protect it.

so if you want to sell the kit, please pm me. hehe j/k
