This week I found a local beer that isn't an IPA or ale. Nice lager.

I hate that about OR. Hard to find anything good that isn't an IPA that taste like they squeezed the juice from 100 pinecones into it.

I can't wait for winter to be over. I really hate cold weather. I miss car meets, driving with the windows down, washing and waxing the car and then just admiring the finished work. I need to move out of this state, could be way worse, but it just sucks.

I like having 4 seasons. I wish we got actual snow down to the valley floor this year, nothing yet. Just buckets of rain.

I used to like having winter, I'm more of a short and shirt type of person. But over the years of doing cold weather training with the Army I just dreaded every winter because I knew it mean camping and freezing my nuts off in VT. Pplus I hate getting shocked at my house every 5 minutes because of layers of clothes and touching handles and what not.

Here, none of the car clubs did anything in 2020 with covid. Porsche club did nothing, British Car Club did nothing, Heap Herders (mostly hot rods and classic American muscle) did nothing. Summer kickoff was cancelled in
NorCal. 2020 was a big nothing for car meets. |

They said we were going to have a bad winter, but so far this winter has been pretty mild. It has snowed a couple times, but gone by the afternoon except in the shadows. This is our second winter here and I have yet to use the snow shovel I bought, or the salt.

Well that blows, I was lucky that every car meet that either I organized or I went to, people followed rules and what not. Even attended Broke. East which was amazing.

The house I bought has an un-insulated basement which not only gets muggy in the summer, but sucks all the heat from the house. It seemed fine when we bought it, but it has become very evident that is something that needs to be fixed asap

My wife hates it so I can see your perspective. It certainly would be nice to have car wash weather more than 3 months a year.
