I've made the same choice. I think to improve the quality of our existence on our planet, we need to manage our resource consumption. The easiest way to reduce resource usage is to require less.

As an adoptive parent (twice!) I'll just remind you to do the arithmetic to figure out how old you will be when they hit "peak teen"...

We had biological kids before adopting - my biggest fear was that I would feel differently about the adoptive kids: Let me assure you that there is no difference!

Well weren't we supposed to be underwater by now and all these other horrible things? Always follow the money with science research. But if we pay money it will help stop something that has been changing for billions of years..
