That started in Origins and expanded more in Odyssey.

In Odyssey, you "could" sneak around, but it wasn't a real requirement. Also, there were two of my favorite items missing, besides the hidden blade which is inexcusable its not there, double assassination and the poison dart that makes NPCs attack each other. I used those extensively in earlier games.

I know the hidden blade is in the "First Blade" story but the player never actually gets one.

There is also an item that extends assassin damage to surrounding NPCs but it isn't the same as a double assassination.

Here is my 1 hour playing Valhalla impression: it's a reskinned Odyssey and/or Origins.

Surprise!

Returned my Asus power supply that couldn't fit in my new SFF build. So with the credit, I bought another Corsair ML140 Pro fan for my intake. After reading a bit, for my Evolve Shift 2, it seems a fan with good static pressure is better for getting air into the case with all the cables in the way. I also have this fan for my exhaust as it seems to fit a good balance between static pressure and air flow. Plus it comes with a white LED which matches the AIO and GPU lights!

Microsoft did the Flight Simulator update in December that allows it to work through OpenVX with VR headsets. Finally tried it tonight.

I have an Oculus Quest 2 headset. Instead of using the QuestLink cable I use Virtual Desktop sideloaded to allow wireless gaming.

After making a registry change required for Virtual Desktop to work, I booted up Flight Sim.

All I can say is the visual view from the cockpit is amazing. Yes, it still looks like a video game since the resolution is less 4K but I honestly felt like I was sitting in the cockpit. The view from the Cessna 172 was exactly right.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to really fly much because its a "do it yourself" configuration. I have to map controls etc, and I don't have my flying controls connected so as hard as it is to fly with keyboard, its harder still when you cant see the keyboard.

I did manage to get it up and moving a standard rate of climb by doing it outside the headset then putting the headset back on.

It's a little glitchy, I need to play with the setup, but it definitely has the potential to be a VR must have. It felt much more natural than trying to fly the screen. I mean, I had depth!

More to come as I have time to play with it.

Decided to restart my playthrough of CP2077 now that I got familiar with all the things. And I'm noticing all the little details. A V's apartment there's a lovely reference to Demolition Man with the sea shells by the toilet

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask in, but I recently built a pc and needed a help/recommendation for a smaller cpu cooler fan.

The issue i run into is that one of the fans that came with the cpu cooler touches the top of the RAM and leaves the case unable to close. The cooler comes with 2 140mm fans with a circular casing which from what I've been told is the same mounting point as a standard 120mm square fan

PC Build Sheet for those that are interested

Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk wifi
Processor: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cpu cooler: DeepCool Assassin 3
RAM: 32gb G Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 (16-19-19-39)
Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3070 Dual OC
SSD: SK Hynix Gold P31 1TB
Case: DeepCool CL500
PSU: NZXT C750

i'd just pick a heatsink with a smaller fan. i tend to pick fans like tires.

first, i find one that looks aesthetically pleasing. then i check the reviews. then i buy.

If you need to replace your cup cooler I would run your build by PC Part Picker.com
It should tell you what fits and what doesn't.

You can always ghetto rig one fan to be slightly higher. Either by super glue or zip ties.

I was looking at just getting a smaller fan, but not sure if there's a major difference in 120mm cooler fans. Issue is i can't close the side panel with the included fan installed so right now only running 1 of the 2 140mm fans that came with the cooler.

I would prefer to stick with an air cooled set up, at least for now especially while parts are still harder to get. Also a little nervous with water cooling since this was my first build

120mm is just a smaller fan. It's better having a smaller fan blowing air than one doing all the work.

Don't be scared with water cooling. All in one aka AIO are just as simple. Just make sure your case can fit one. That's pretty much it.

I did my first build two years ago and I went with an AIO. Zero maintenance.

I did my first liquid cooler with my first time building a PC. AIOs are pretty straight forward. If you can do an air cooler, you can do an AIO. I got the BeQuiet Pure Loop 120mm.

If you're set on a slim air cooler, look into the Noctua NH-L9a
