I told my parents that we're prepping to selling our house and looking into buy a house... but I guess, I didn't tell my parent's the price range of the house we're looking at. When they did, they flipped out! Especially my mom. Yesterday, she sent me a long ass email along w txt claiming it's crazy high price. So I've calmly replied asking if she can find the house that meet our needs: +3bd +2bth +2 car garage w +1860sq/ft space in certain area, we'll gladly look or even put an offer.

That happened yesterday 9am... she haven't responded. I hope, she can prove me wrong, but clearly she haven't seen the house market recently.

So I had an interview for another dream job. Went great, now they need my supervisor to fill out a referral sheet and send it back. That was last thursday and he still hasn't gotten to it. I'm becoming very frustrated as it's a pretty arbitrary form that's essentially boxes with "adequate, above satisfactory, excellent" ect. So the outcome of this position is in his hands to hurry up and get the form sent out. I've pestered him 3 times now to get it done, but don't want to sound pushy. I just want to know if they will hire me or not.

OOF!!! That's harsh that they require you to do that. Plus **** move of your supervisor to wait this long... unless your supervisor been crazy busy.

Haha trust me, I've heard some weird shit from agents before. 3yrs ago, when we were looking at one house we liked and we put the offer to get things rolling. We got meth test result and it was 15 times more than state limits. Agent was like "It's fine, it's only 15 times more. It's not bad." I was like NOPE! No thanks

Yes he's been busy, but it's a form that would take all of 10min to complete. and he won't do it. so it's a lose-lose situation. And the fact that my future is in his hands really irks me. I despise that kind of a situation.

Shouldn't HR be dealing with this on your behalf? I'm guessing it's their form and completing it is a requirement set by them.

I have no clue. I'm half tempted to just forge it and send it back.

I had some friends that put a bid and won a government seized home. It was a beautiful home with 5 bedrooms, a 6 car garage, a pool and was about 6,000sq ft. They got it for about half price because it had been used for cocaine smuggling and required some major renovations to be liveable.

They claimed the DEA recovered several kilos of coke just from the carpets in the main living space that had been used as a production repacking space.
