One guy in a thread elsewhere was talking about how he keeps kit in his vehicle complete with plates and 10 loaded mags. I was like.... Uhhhh I get being prepared, but 10 magazines? At what point do you sacrifice too much speed and mobility for the sake of ammunition? And at what point is that really needed during your daily commute? This isn't Afghanistan.

Is what it is. Some people can and will take any "hobby" or whatever to extremes.

I carry stuff on me everyday; but nothing to the extent where I'm equipped for a firefight with a battalion sized element.

Yeah, it's pretty wild. I mean, they're free to do what they want. But I couldn't help but laugh at the hostility over asking such a simple question about the mindset of having so much stuff for daily commuting.

I'm probably into the 2 dozen range, but it's always been spam.

I prefer to either work out my differences or pummel them into submission, which sometimes backfires spectacularly. Neither requires mommy to rescue me.
