Took this chunk of metal out of the engine bay and replaced it with a sexy Verus bracket. Planning to do the passenger side ECU rail in a few days after getting some gold DEI tape for the cyl 1 coilpack.

Took out the passenger side DI injector bracket. Not as heavy as the driver side one but still surprisingly heavy.
Also added some gold ricer bling to the engine bay ![]() Hoping the combination of the slimmer bracket and gold DEI wrap will keep that cylinder 1 coilpack cooler during track days and hard canyon runs. Happy New Years everyone. My resolution is to stop getting P0351’s lol.

The redecorating continues. This is my first real attempt at doing a car interior. I bought a almost complete interior a couple of years back and am just getting to this project now. My original interior is bagged and tagged. Let's start with something simple.

Prepping the trans tunnel. The donor had a bit of a fire. The trans tunnel was melted a bit at the back and I'm filling in the coin holder thingy. Filler for plastic was used not regular putty. It remains flexible yet extremely hard. This piece could take a bit to get right.

Cut large holes in the hood. Got it aligned. Considered changing the oil then decided I didn't care and left it in the trailer. Team lazy ftw.

Trans tunnel half covered in vinyl. It's a very slow process. At least for me...That's the skeleton of the arm rest on top.

Polished up the rough headlights. Meguier's kit worked well as far as I'm concerned.

How do you intend to protect the headlights from UV fade now that they've been polished?

The Meguiar's kit comes with a sealant. It'll still happen eventually, the lenses are plastic

Few days ago boost came off the car but in some regards I kinda enjoy driving the car NA. It's a wierd feeling. I will miss the tq curve this kit provides think bell curve with less fall off at the end of the rpm range

I've driven a car with the Sprintex 210, it really felt perfect. What made you want to take it off? Genuinely curious; I have no investment in your car so I'm not putting you down for it

So to switch mid season would be a pain so I decided to pull it early and run the entire 2021 season without it. Hopefully this will also give me more longevity with the motor going back to NA. I want to turn this car into a dedicated track car and pull it off street ( cage, full weight reduction etc...) Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk

As DarkPirate said, the kit comes with a sealant. Or polish them again. Or just replace them at some point. But for now, they're much improved for a few bucks and a little effort.
