A turbo muffles the exhaust as a side effect of harvesting what would otherwise be wasted energy. A supercharger is louder than NA but the LG90 is much quieter than stock because its design uses clever acoustical engineering techniques to cancel the loudest components. Because it's not a brute-force design, it also flows more freely than stock.
