Makes sense. Need some free radicals in there. I've been watching a single cell slowly sulfate over the last couple years. Wish that I could get ahold of another Panasonic battery for the "keep it original" satisfaction.

That, and I've grown to be a huge fan of Panasonic in general. I came to recognize their unique dedication to product design and documentation decades ago. They remain true to their philosophy still.

Well, Bubba don't believe in logic. He says that if putting a jug of water, with tea bags in it, on a stump, in a clearing, in the direct sunlight, makes good tea, then it should be good for a battery.

Ok, now that makes sense. I'll go pull my battery and wait for some sun. Should be good around June.

I did nothing with mine, ‘cos the ETA for repairs is end Jan.

In the meantime, we’ve bought a second car, a Mitsubishi triton tray back utility, which should be perfect for those super-rare times when I can’t make it fit in the boot of the 86.

Maybe it was like a wolf pack, when they move, they let the sick and old set the pace, so as they don't get left behind.

Acquired the 86 piston trunk liner and Rexpeed heated, polarized & wide-angle side mirrors from a local seller. Huge difference with the new mirrors, recommend 100%.
