There is no ETA on "on order" status. It wont start giving that info until it is scheduled. Production can still move even on that status.

I'm thinking I'm being bullshitted around, since I put in the contract that I could pull out of the car doesn't come in October.

I'm not really sure how many orders they have had. They didn't say when I put my order in, although there was someone there who had put in an order previously. It's a mid-sized dealership.

I just will be really annoyed if they're aware it won't be until well into next year, and are just stringing me along for the sale. I could have looked elsewhere in the meantime for a dealership with less orders.

Yes. Sorry, I should have mentioned that that's only assuming it will actually be produced in October ...

... However, October build does seem really good. Almost too good to be true. Not saying it's impossible, but just keep that in mind.

I'm the first order for my dealership too, I ordered my on 6th June. My status is still ON ORDER too. My dealer told me today that my order is likely to be Oct build.

Yeah I was assuming this is likely the case.

My main worry is it could be anything from a November/December build date to March/May/June next year build date. There's no real way of telling unless the dealer is honest with me. (and i'm aware he doesn't know exactly either, but would have a much better idea than I do)

It does to me. Not all dealers get two a month. Allocations were being built right up to this month and customer orders commence from here on. Some have been earlier but that's only for the very early orders e.g. May and beyond.
