So? They had a midget operating R2D2. And Ultramaroon apparently played Han's best bud.

Turns out, it's a lot easier to find short people than tall people, so hence we have Ewoks in episode 6 as opposed to Wookies.

For sure. It just sounds like he was treated badly in later years. An embarrassment. Blacklisted from official events. Clash of personalities with Lucus. As if they later regretted their casting decision. Sounds like he had much higher expectations of the role, and then took it pretty hard when they dubbed his character’s voice. Luckily it sounds like he was successful in his own right. He didn’t “need” StarWars. Still kinda sad though.
