awesome stuff Fuddbutter!
Do people actually read the agreement before signing their orders? I Do, I make the dealers wait until I read every line of it before signing anything. Solicitors I work for taught me to get into the habit of reading "Agreements" and "Terms and Conditions" before signing anything. You never know what you're in for!

Of course not! ![]() They should have had it added to the clauses stating that the car is to be supplied as per the specifications at the time the contract was signed. If you come on here and whinge that they have changed something, you might as well just whinge about yourself not reading the contract properly before signing it.

for those who aren't getting spare tyres, just out of curiosity I was just looking at BMW stuff not sure if it's even compatible with the 86. But has anyone considered Run Flats?

lol... cornflakes law degree.... AT MOST they would be obliged to offer you a full refund of your deposit as your right the terms of the agreement have changed and this would be reasonable to void a contract. Having said that, they dont NEED to sell you the car, you want it.. so if you dont agree dont buy it.

It is written in the contract that Toyota reserve the right to change the price, spec and colours if required (basically covering the dealership if there's any factory/spec changes out of their control, like this), but it's also written that the purchaser will be notified and they will given the opportunity to cancel the contract and get the deposit back if they don't want to go ahead.
I specifically questioned this when signing the contract, because I was a bit worried about the 'price' part. :edit: at least that was in my contract. |
