Mines not black but here are my stats:

Ordered: 3/10/12
Allocation at Dealer: 6 out of 16
ETA: Late August (Hopefully sooner)
Vin: 2321
Car: DGM Premium 6 speed

Not a funny joke but I think FHI is discriminating against certain colors....

Hellz yeah! just got my VIN and ETA of 8/9. Took 109 days, fwiw.

Still no VIN attached to my VON, despite an August ETA.

Up to 120 days wait right now for my WRB Limited 6MT. I found out 2 weeks ago for August delivery. Just received another update, after I emailed them again, and they said by next firday 8/3 they will have updated information. Still trying to get my new drivers license(recently moved stated) and insurance stuff together before this all hits me out of no where.

I think they actually make them in batches of colors. Considering that SWP and WRB are probably the 2 most popular colors I wouldn't be surprised.

It makes logistical and economic sense to produce in batches down the assembly line.

Also, my ETA is 8/9.

Yeah that gives me hope, Im going to give SOA a call tomorrow and hope they have a VIN. Ive only seen two BRZs in my city and honestly each one boosted my excitement through the roof as well as my patients level

Subaru updated me today, no firm date, but my original estimate of august pushed out to "the end of the year."

I cancelled my order, and found a dealer with one inbound (vin assigned.) I'll have it in a couple weeks.

This ordering process has been a joke. Both SOA and many dealerships have just completely dropped the ball as far as customer service and common sense.

Don't be surprised if it just shows up out of the blue or you get a call soon. That's what happened for me. Finally got down to Irvine today and picked it up. Loving it! Until then, stay frosty, it'll be worth it. :happy0180:

Got an email from my Atlanta area dealer yesterday with the VIN and ETA of 8/19. Ordered a BRZ WRB Limited AT on 3/23...almost here!

Are you the guy I met at the Irvine dealer with the black Miata? If so, then yes. If not....well, then it is still a yes. I snagged my WRB BRZ today (well, technically yesterday now). God the traffic on the 405 sucked on the way back, but boy was the drive still fun.
