I prefer the pre-facelift display, but they could lose the speedometer in favor of circular oil temp/pressure gauges. It seems redundant to have a digital and analog speedometer. I agree with the other guy that Porsche did it right; do whatever, but just give me a circular, analog, bezeled tach center screen.

I covered my speedometer with a much more useful OFT screen.

Good to see real pics with natural light to get a sense of what it will be like in real driving. And I have to say, I like it. I don't know why people are ragging on the interior, I think it looks decent and nicer than the gen 1 interior, which had a centre stack that looked exceptionally cheap with its fisher price plastics and 1980s Toyota digital clock etc. This one is cleaner, more up to date, and still driver focused - it's perfectly fine if the price remains around the same point.

For me, the biggest visual adjustment is still the exterior, especially the new front half. It still looks a bit tall and rounded to me in comparison to the previous gen. But if I can get over that, it's not bad - still a hachi roku under the new panels.

Happy the torque dip went missing. I hope with this new generation I can stop brushing anti-rust slime under the car. I mean, please, give me more aluminum from factory under the car!

Regarding the re-engineered interior, if I understand correctly, I'll have to dislocate my shoulder every time I want to have a drink and my most used armrest will be a bottle cap. I wonder what the anatomy of the designer is.
