It is unreasonable to look at parts that are in no way identifiable as accurate and make determinations based them as if they are fact.

"Gee look the roof looks just like a 17". The roof IS a bloody 17. It is a photoshop montage.
Talking about what may exist is one thing. Taking a bunch of homemade pictures as fact and running with it is another. It is how bullshit makes it to the clickbaits which causes them to start another round of trash which people take as fact and then when none of it is accurate every screams that isn't what they wanted.

This is what Subaru released. Every single other picture is something that somebody else made up using this. People just keep adding their own spin on things based on this one headlight.

The pic I have from the Subaru site shows the passenger side roofline to some degree. So somebody mirror imaged it filled in the middle and took liberties with the bumper. I guess that is indeed photoshopped lol

I'm not worried about the details of the top of the windshield or the roof... Seriously don't know why you even bother coming here if you don't care about things until they're "officially official".

Photoshop was obvi, and not a big deal. To me...

Wasn't a big deal to me either the exclamation was hyperbole.
I don't care if everything is official and will speculate with the rest. My objections are to things that are not real being presented as if they are.
In the case of the picture the only part that is real is the headlight and about an inch of the top right bumper. Everything else was added over the course of a few days as people kept shopping more "details" in. Then everybody is discussing the merits of a mythical beast as if that is somehow the real thing.
It isn't the real thing and I don't see where I am wrong in pointing that out.
It is funny that everybody likes to speculate but when my speculations conflict with theirs I am wrong to speculate!

I'm hoping the car is NOT a turbo 2.4L. Don't want that heat from a turbo and what will likely not hold up to track time...

I hope it's a NA 2.4L (more low end torque / cubic inches) with a LOWER compression ratio than current setup... more suitable than current engine for adding boost.

That car will be faster than current model, if you want to leave it that way... and a great car! With more cubes and lower CR, it will be also be a great starting point for bolting on a blower to make ~300hp reliably. Add AP brake kit and shocks. Oil cooler. Run Mid 2:30s at Sebring and having a blast. Consumables still in check and smiling while other guys are spending twice as much money on a Cayman.

DONE.|

PS: Or get an NC Miata and 2.5 swap to run mid 2:30s for ~$16k, including car.

Or both.

you're just angry that you bought a hakone that doesn't have rear wheel steering like the new model is going to have.

Hakone with rws. A little heavier with more torque. Can actually lift a minivan rather than race it. Lifting capacity is just under the weight of all the inaccurate prognostications regarding the new brz

hA! It's always a big deal to you, as you continue to demonstrate!

And the full frontal view of the fender and almost the entire hood (assuming left/right symmetry which I think is a fair guess!) and the lower 1/3 of the A-pillar and windshield. The Subaru pic reveals *a lot* about the front of the car. Mirroring it and filling in shows a decent idea of what we're gonna see tomorrow. The top of the windshield, don't see how that could be too radically different! The darked-out image of the current grill, seems a reasonable place-filler...

You're not speculating though, you're just crying about how "it isn't the real thing!"

Sometimes the speculative images are ridiculous, but in this case, the image is ~80% "real", and what's filled-in we'll find out about soon enough what it's gonna look like anyway.

Anyway, welcome to car forums, we're gonna show and talk about images of cars whether they're real or not

Watch, the final product will be asymmetrical, with an entirely different left side head lamp!

And I am going to point out when it is not real. It is a two way street.
