My dad is the worst story teller, it’s hilarious. He just stopped mid story to ask why I am laughing at him.

Speaking of effects...

Noticed this last night. If you browse the forum in a browser using a VR headset, because of the colors used in the top banner, it is quasi-3D! The cars and the lettering pops out of the frame as do some other details. Pretty nice effect.

(I was using a Quest 2, but I suspect it would happen on any)

I had a nice visit after the ceremony today. Old deuce and a half #688 dropped by work to pay me a visit. Was a truck (this very one) that I spent probably thousands of hours in in 1976-77. Guy from work bought it at auction years ago and uses it for parades and such.
I discovered that they must have grown in height over the last 44 years since it was much harder to get in and out.

Why are you browsing with a VR headset and what else where you browsing?

Technically wasn't browsing per se, but was playing Elven Assassin with my son, and SuperHot VR.

Right before I took off the headset, I decided to check in rather than going to my computer, just to see the experience. It was actually pretty smooth.

I swear I was not on any of those VR adult "education" sites.....

1. My guess is that people find it interesting enough to continue asking questions. Some even organize them numerically.

2. Nope. In my defense, the discovery sent me reeling with its implications so much that I was unable to continue my analysis. I'll have to get back to you on that.
