Question Wait a sec...is it fine to park ON the line, so long as you're not BEYOND the line?

There's a person who consistently parks next to me, and it seems 50/50 that he's on the line.

Do you (or from a legal perspective) think it's fine to park on the line, so long as the tire is not beyond it?

Here's my sweet drawing of tires being on the line!

I had a beater at one point partially for this reason. You see, it's fine for them to do that if you park with your passenger side within an inch or two of their driver's door.

Legally it's fine. Socially it's something that should get your tires shot out

Fold the mirrors the other way. That really sends home the message.

Probably the adult equivalent of a kid saying: “I’m not touching you! I’m not touch you!” with a finger an inch away from you.

Can you not park somewhere else or is it like assigned spots?

Is it a store or business parking lot, or a public street?

There are no laws in a privately owned parking lot.

Park between the lines. Equal space on both sides.
Funny the guys saying "fold his mirrors" are probably the same guys that would say "shot anybody that touches your car". Don't touch anybody else's car no matter how big a d1ck they are unless you wouldn't care if they did the same to you.

We are also the guys that get out of the car to double check if we are parked evenly within the lines... Even if my wife always tells me I am crazy for doing so.
