Got into the 40s here in Texas and was misting rain. I had to drive 1mi to work in these near blizzard conditions. Tires were even less grippy than usual - Kumho Solus that came with the car when I bought it.

Made it back home. Did not crash.

Several many years ago i flew in to the old Dallas air port to find about 3-4 inches of snow on the ground. Hertz lady said they were not renting any cars because of the extreme conditions. I asked to talk to the manager. I explained that i just came from Wisconsin with 3-4 feet of snow and hardly could find any on the ground there. He did rent me a car.
Well he was right, hardly a car on the road. They were all in the ditch.

Took the car out for a final back road drive on road 509 near sharbot lake before snow season. What a gorgeous stretch of road. I heard the twang hitting the rear bump stops a few times, but did not crash.

I did however bottom out on a huge ass speedbump this morning : ( doing 5-10km. That made me hurt inside.

When I saw this sign I knew it was going to be good.

Yes, know the area well. Wife and I have ridden those roads many times. Lots of fun little roads that most people don't know about. However, the O.P.P. do pay attention to them.

Does that count as a crash though? cuz your vehicle absorbed external harm to its physical body!

I saw one cop early on. The road isn't smooth enough for crazy speeds, I was happy around 100.

I'm not sure what was hurt more, me or the car.

Car lost power and engine cut off while I was in the passing lane on my interstate going ~80 MPH. Had to coast across 5 lanes to the right shoulder before the car slowed to a stop.

Did not crash. Did get honked at. A lot.

I happened to roll to a stop right behind a patrol officer that was in the process of pulling someone over. The officer finished up and gave me cover while I called a tow. Thanks, UHP!
