Well, it is subjective, and we don't know what the owner is doing on the weekend. Frankly, I think huge wings, riveted on wide-body fenders, giant splitters, canards, fake vents, racing decals, etc can look pretty stupid for a road car too. I also think some of the rally wheels above look good. This is true of turbofan wheels too. Some look good to me and some don't, but they also get a bashing from forum critics.

functionality should be more important to looks too. I'll take lightweight smaller wheels over ginormous boat anchors that everyone loves. Who cares what they look like, they will make everything the cars does better.

Are you sure they are boat anchors? Why aren't they functional?

Not everything...I found the most functional wheels for you. Considering the majority of driving is not accelerating, these are the most functional...for fuel economy...large flat discs on large rims with low profile tires. Enjoy:

Because 18x9.5 whatever they are almost always weigh at least 20 pounds.

Lighter wheels are better for everything, accelerating, turning, stopping, etc.

I think this is one of the first English First Look videos available

And this is also an interesting one since it includes a dyno run.

It's in Japanese so I can't tell what he is saying exactly but the numbers are interesting since they could mean that Toyota was conservative with the claimed numbers. It has pretty much the horsepower that it's supposed to have but it has way more torque. He measured 419 Nm / 309 ft·lb.

Is a Twin with widebody kit, SC, super-duper suspension, brakes and other goodies still a Twin?
