How to tune crackles not pops and bangs with oft roms?
Overrun ..

Pops bangs only retired timeng at base timeng B

but what we need to get crackles??

Sound you get is depemdant a lot on exhaist setup amd if your tirbo or SC.

if you using base B timong all you can rearly do is play arround with the amount of ignition retard you apply and the load\rpm range

lower retard like 0 to -6 generally wont get bangs, higher retard like -16 will get more bangs.

The euro cars that have crackles tuned in likely have specific code in the ecu to create the crackle effect

Run a 2" exhaust from the turbo back. Internal wastegate. Set all ignition tables to -40 to default them to crackle mode. Get an egt gauge. If your EGTs are hitting 1800, you should get crackle noises
