JDM 86 Mirror Installed on FR-S

So this was about 10x easier than I thought it would be. Just slid down the OEM one with a little bit of force (careful not to hit the windshield of course ), replaced the pin, slid in the new mirror and Voila!

you slid down the old mirror? i thought you have to rotate it counter-clockwise to loosen it.

Nope I literally grabbed it and pushed it down with some slight wiggling, gently of course. The pin holding it stayed in the slot and I replaced it with the new one that came with the JDM mirror.

It's just a mirror. Shouldn't have anything to do with LHD or RHD.

What he said. It's right in the center and actually is even more adjustable than the stock mirror. Has two pivot points versus one on the stock mirror. 1 point at the mirror and another at the base.

Looks very nice! Speaking of which. Does anybody know why this mirror doesn't meet regulations? I looked everywhere and I haven't found any explanations
