The only thing that could compare in powerband is a small turbo but you still won’t have the same throttle response. |

Here is sprintex at 300whp vs centrifugal SC at 300whp. The centrifugal has a lot more room to turn up though. But if goal is to stay at or under 300whp. But note the massive difference in entire area under the curve. At 4k rpm sprintex is making about 60ft lbs more. If they where overlayed it would be even more obvious. From 4k to 6500 sprintex makes a flat 250ft lbs. centrifugal doesn’t even hit 240ft lbs peak.

The the lower curves are from a NA stock car on the same Dyno and as close of conditions. Notice the bell curve on the wtq. Nice and predictable. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk

I want to say that I've sat in an innovate/sprintex as well as driven it. If I weren't turbo and had to go supercharger, the sprintex would be my choice 100%. The power under the curve compared to stock is incredible. I can't imagine the 335 blower

Good info. I would be lying if part of my infatuation with the sprintex kit is the sound. As well, why is it the sprintex kit seems to love oil consumption? I always read how their oil levels are low. Is that just part of the design? How often should you change the supercharger oil? I know for the TVS900/1320 it's ever 50-100k miles or something like that.

Going to chime in as well. My kit has about 40k miles on it and was driven aggressively. I jacked up to car to change its oil fully expecting that it would be a bit low. Used a syringe and extracted it all, and to my surprise, absolutely no oil loss.
That doesn't means the blower doesn't consume oil though, I'm just chiming in from my experience. |

My only oil issue is oil coming sneaking out of the dip stick bolt area, otherwise I'd probably never need to put any more in. The pressure inside is nuts otherwise it wouldn't ninja it's way out. I found a vented bolt to replace the dip stick to try out but under hard driving the oil still sneaks out of the vented plug through the actual vents which was surprising. Aside from checking the oil every month and putting a wee bit in every 3 or so, and the dumb intercooler and daisy chain into the fuel injector power, I like this kit. Otherwise if I were to do it all over again I either would stay NA or I'd go with the Edlebrock even though it doesn't sound as cool.

Should be fine. Only thing is you need to use a tap to get true boost. Stock map can read passed 5 psi or so
