Spark Plugs
Recommendations?
Denso Iridium (OEM)? or NGK Racing with Iridium tip and Platinum-coated copper ground? or Other brands? Any suggestions for N/A or F/I? Type of use, street, track? Experiences, good, bad, other? Any brands to steer clear of? |

It's my understanding that this wheel needs not to be reinvented or modified - just stick with the OEM plugs -

You don't think installing different plugs for forced induction would have any benefit? Just curious, are you boosted or naturally aspirated? |

I haven't heard from the folks that are boosted that they have any problems with the OEM plugs - I'm not boosted, at age 77, I'm barely naturally aspirated - |

Stock it is then.
Just went out to look for them and out of three chain parts stores, nobody carries the OEM Denso plugs. None of them even crosses them over to any other brand. With all of the counterfeit plugs infesting the online shops these days, I'd hate to order them from Amazon. I know the Toyota and Subaru dealers will have them, but I'm sure they'll be way overpriced. |

Oem work just fine. But If needing to replace for some reason I don’t see why upgrading the for the same price would be a bad idea. |

True, but if I'm going to get down that deep into troubleshooting, then it would probably be a good idea to have the new plugs in hand before taking the existing ones out for inspection, which I will want to at least do first before ruling out two intermittently faulty coils.
