They honestly look pretty great stock (the GR edition) in person! But I'm betting the aftermarket will make them even better.

I sadly missed the dealer showing.. I'm reading that deliveries have started or about to start in Japan so more detailed road reviews will be good to see..

You can now take a look at all the official upgrade parts that Toyota will produce for the GR Yaris. A video showing all the stuff is also available. Right now everything is in Japanese but at least translating the first site is no problem.

Prices are decent too. I know other manufactures who would ask a lot more for all of this.

There will also be an online event on September 16th in celebration of the GR Yaris launch.

Here is the official Japanese brochure for the car
https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/req...009_spread.pdf

And for the optional extras
https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/req...009_spread.pdf

I sadly can't speak Japanese (yet) but that's a very well done brochure that makes you really want one if you weren't sure before. I can't even read the text but the understandable parts like the headlines and the pictures are alone already so expressive and show all the right details like pedals that allow heel-toeing or oil pressure/oil temperature gauges.
Bravo Toyota. You certainly hit the target audience.

All of the guides that Toyota/Gazoo Racing produce for the cars are beautiful.

On my past two trips I picked up both the one for the 86 and the one for the A90 Supra. They have stuff like concept art of the cars, professional photographs from the circuit, and then listings for a buuunch of OEM+ and aftermarket parts.

They're very high quality print booklets as well.

I'd love to get this one in print but who knows when I will get to visit again .
