if it's cooked/marinated right, you really shouldn't even need to chew, just gum it!

Sure, there are plenty of fancy ways to do corn, but a quick dunk in boiling salt water and slathered in butter is fine for a quick family meal. It was delicious. Our neighbor gave us a ton, so I only have 15 more ears to eat this week.

I couldn't decide between tuna or haddock on my tacos. So I got one of each.

I guess I'm on a Seafood Diet? Swordfish while I'm overnight here in Sag Harbor. Funny part is I didn't even fly or sail here I had to drive a crew car here. (The jet arrives tomorrow morning and then we are off to Michigan)

Yeah but it was $18 including the salad and the brusette had lettuce and tomatoe too. I thought it was a fair deal, especially considering it's like a millionaires/billionaires playground there.

I bought 4 more cap steaks today. They were each over a pound. I was going to vacuum pack them to cook stock, but the mod bug hit. I unrolled them, and each one was actually a small cap and a larger cap stacked and rolled together.

So the smaller caps I just rolled up. The larger ones I butterflied, and re-rolled, all double tied to help stay together better. I turned 4 overly large steaks into 8 between 6.5 and 11 ounces. Awesome!

Tonight is tri-tip. It is taking a bath right now. I'll finish them on the Weber with some hickory.

Do you ALWAYS play with your food so much, before you cook it?
