Engine Failure! 2013 Scion Frs. Recall was made

I went to pick up my car at the dealership they didn't put the oil pan and oil tube back because they found metal debree in the pan so they refused to repair the engine, and i came across this on the oil tube silicone on the oil tube so what should i do?? I left the car at the dealership because I cant move it , my batter was dead witch idk why its brand new. But what should i do ???? Fight for it???? Make them pay for something I didn't do and caused engine failure, note: that the dealership what to charge me 10k

I'd say I'm surprised, but that'd be a lie.
Fight them, this is a well documented issue. Unless your engine waited year and 16,000 miles to go, I'd battle

Edit: you went quite a long while before something happened, that'll be tough to prove. I'd still bring the fight to them.

Irvine Toyota ruined my car and are unresponsive. I’m having a new motor installed at a Highly reputable shop. You can buy a used engine for 4K and have it installed for around 3k. I’m using a new block from IAG that’s rated for 550hp and all the trimmings to build a bulletproof motor. 11k.

They charge 3k to do the swap

I can do it in about 8 hours without a lift or a normal engine hoist. WTF.

If I read this right, you had the repair done in 04/2019 at 123,000 miles.

Your engine failed in 08/2020 at 138,000 miles.

So, by either measure you are out of warranty unfortunately. I doubt they will repair it for you at no cost unless you can prove negligence and they do it to avoid a court case. Bringing in a factory rep might help, but probably not. It won't cost you anything but time.

Unfortunately still after the warranty period, it seems. I'm sorry @padillaricardo48 that sucks. I know I'd be pissed to no end.

I went to the dealership with the service manager and I was waiting for almost 4 hours and he just left and he knew I was gonna talk to him like what kind of customer service is that.... like how is our fault if rtv gets trapped in the oil tube ?

I'm confused. When in this story did they find the metal in the oil pan? Why was the car taken into the dealership when they took it apart and found metal shavings?
