This is good news, at least to me. It seems, I would buy it if I ever decide to replace my FR-S. I won't be one of those but there will be too much complaining if it is not turbo. There seems to be no intercooler behind the front grill but Subaru-style top intercooler is still possible.

Is that the Eye Sight system I see in the front windshield?
How intrusive is that system? |

I was trying to say the vents are the fender are most likely functional since we have openings on the wheel well.

It’s not bad, and you can turn it off. You REALLY have to try hitting something to provoke it. Quote:
Plenty of other manufacturers have emergency braking on manuals (VW for example). Subaru just haven’t bothered to tweak the system for MT. I’m sure they can do it. |

My Fiance has a Honda HRV with a similar system, and some safety items will stay off when you go to restart the car (lane keep assist), but others come back on (brake assist). |

I can’t remember, the lane assist stayed off for sure. I’m glad too, cause that shit was intrusive. It actually bumps the steering wheel away from the line. I left the emergency brake on cause it was very unintrusive. This was on a 2019 base Impreza loaner. |
